Weâve got the perfect bakes for you if you want to get in the kitchen to spend time and start some traditions with your children or even to use up some leftover Easter eggs!
You could even make it a bit more fun with some of our Easter-themed onesies.
Â
Here are some of the best and super easy Easter bakes you can make with kids over the holiday period â simple, fun, and full of seasonal cheer.
Â
1. Classic Easter Cornflake Nest Cakes
If thereâs one bake that screams âEaster with kids,â itâs chocolate cornflake nests. Itâs an ultimate no bake classic which is super quick to do with the kids as no oven is required, there are minimal ingredients and has lots of mixing and decorating making it fun.
Simply melt some chocolate, milk or dark depending on your preference and then mix in crushed shredded wheat or cornflakes, and spoon into cupcake cases.
You can then let your little ones press mini eggs into the centre. Pop them in the fridge to set, so simple yet so sweet! Just try not to eat them all at once.
Â
Top tip: This is a great activity for toddlers in their soft, comfy onesies â just expect a little chocolate around the cheeks!

2. Easter Shaped Cookies
Who doesnât love a cookie filled with Mini Eggs or leftover chocolate?
This is a great activity to do with the kids as they can get involved in rolling the dough and cutting the shapes as well as the decorating.
Bake a basic cookie dough (or grab some ready-made dough for extra ease) and then fold in crushed Mini Eggs before baking. If you want to make them extra fun then you can use Easter shaped cookie cutters such as bunnies, chicks or egg shapes. Pop them in the oven and watch as the chocolatey goodness melts into gooey perfection.
Alternatively, you can miss out the Mini Eggs and then once cooled, set up a decorating station with pastel icing, edible eyes, and sprinkles where they can create their own bunny faces.
Â
3. Bunny-Shaped Pancakes
Why not, make breakfast extra fun by making Easter themed pancakes.
These are super easy by mixing flour, eggs and milk to make a pancake batter and fry in a frying pan. You can then use one large pancake for a bunnyâs face, and then two smaller pancakes or alternatively one pancake cut in half for the ears. You can then make an extra small one for the nose or use some fruit or cream instead.
You donât even have to make your own as you can buy buttermilk or scotch pancakes in different sizes from the supermarket if time isnât on your side.
You can then decorate these with fruit, whipped cream, and chocolate chips t make the bunnyâs face and for the cutest Easter morning ever.

3. Mini Egg Brownies
Easter brownies are a delicious, chocolatey crowd-pleaser thatâs one of the easiest things for kids to make and even easier to eat.
Simply prepare your favourite brownie mix by mixing everything together in one bowl and press crushed mini eggs into the top before baking, it will make them deliciously gooey on the inside but a little crunchy on top. The colourful shells melt slightly in the oven, creating a crunchy, chocolatey topping that feels extra special for Easter. You can also turn regular brownies into a more springtime theme with fun smarties as flowers.
These are perfect for if you are wanting an Easter Sunday dessert or as a treat if visiting family over the weekend.
Â
4. Easter Cupcake Decorating Party
Cupcakes are wonderfully forgiving and perfect for little bakers. Transform plain cupcakes such as vanilla or chocolate with a vanilla frosting and let the kids go wild with different decorations.
To make this extra easy you can buy pre-made plain fairy cakes in the supermarket or ready-made frosting.
Ideas for decorations would be pastel buttercream, Marshmallow chicks, Mini eggs, Edible glitter and eyes. Lay everything out on the table and let creativity take over. Itâs messy. Itâs chaotic but itâs completely worth it.

Whether youâre a seasoned baker or just here for the giggles, these easy Easter treats are guaranteed to bring some joy to your home this spring.
